Concept is Clarion government has sent a delegation to Madderly's Star. diplomat, and support staff. PCs are support staff.<div><br /></div><div>Diplomat is cousin to the king, Lord Breckworth. He is also jealous of the king and would like to set himself up as a "king" and is working with the leaders of the Commitees of Freedom. He has helped privately finance weapons smuggling to the Commitees of Freedom and is actually hoping to forment a rebellion and set himself up as king of Zdikit. He's a bit delusional in that the Commitees of Freedom leadership has no reason to do that but are more than happy to take his money and the weapons. </div><div><br /></div><div>So he is in effect working against the interest of the Crown of Clarion that does not wish to see a potentially interstellar incident happen on Zdikit. </div><div><br /></div><div>PCs could be:</div><div>A journalist</div><div>Spies/agents of His Magesties Secret Service </div><div>Civil Service diplomat</div><div>Royal Marine or Royal Guard attached as security or Royal Mounted Constabulary </div>
