Inertia Umbrella

Popular on worlds like Clarion the inertia umbrella is an adaption of the inertia screen technology. <div><br /></div><div>Its a pole with a minipowerclip (Zebs 10 SEU)</div><div>It projects a meter diameter screen like an umbrella and will repulse rain at the cost of 1 SEU/hour. </div><div><br /></div><div>It can also be used as a shield in combat but any inertia damage from shooting weapons burns it out immediately (the impact velocity of fired weapons does this) although it will function for that one moment as an inertia screen providing the mini clip has 2 SEU left and the user is not using another screen of any type (something about harmonic resonances shorting out competing screens). </div><div><br /></div><div>If the damage comes from muscle powered melee or thrown weapons the inertia umbrella may not short out- 50% chance. </div><div><br /></div>
