<div>I've been going to school for testing for the CDL license and a significant portion of the testing is Pre trip check of the tractor trailer. Inspecting or checking for safety equipment, steering, braking, engine components, paper work, structural issues on the trailer, lights, wheels, drive train, fifth wheel, fuel and batteries and more. Rumor has it that the State of NH is twice as anal about testing as the state of Maine. And I know that some drivers will tell you they havent done a pre trip since they tested for their CDL so its not 100% mandatory but can be a good idea. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>So the question is, "Should there be a pre-flight for KHs ships?" Note I'm in essence comparing KHs ships to Commercial vehicles in the real world and I suppose that is not a bad comparison?<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The purpose is of course to catch safety issue and head off a maintenance issue before you head out on the trip. So if we create a pre-flight rule then it would be a dice roll that checks for a maintenance issue and allow it to be fixed before the flight. Once that is done the rule can state that the flight will go off without a problem and or no chance of hyper ignite for atomic drives?</div><div><br /></div><div>rapid dust off ignoring a pre flight will increase chances of a problem or item braking on this flight?</div><div><br /></div><div>for scale a good commercial trucks pre trip should take 30 minutes, the training school is teaching us to do it in 10 minutes for the test which is really about showing you can do a pre trip not actually being tested on doing one right. <br /></div>
