For whatever purpose you see fit (exploration, combat, point A to point B transport, profit, etc), what ship would you choose for your very own from cinema, televison, and/or literature? From the SF game or any other RPG (Traveller etc)? And for each of those choices, why?<div>_____________________________________________________________ </div><div><br /></div><div>My answer for the Cinematic/etc question would be a CEC YT-1300 (the ship model that the Millennium Falcon was based on). Small, quick, and agile along with atmospheric capabilities and a fair offense/defense system not to mention a minimal crew to operate; this makes for a fine "does everything well" transport.</div><div><br /></div><div>Naturally I'll take the trim with the flame licks on the mandibles. <img src="http://www.starfrontiers.us/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/p…; alt="Cool" title="Cool" /></div><div><br /></div><div><img src="https://boardgamegeek.com/camo/666a2e4d7de2188be4991ded7023efcc00667bf5…; /></div><div><br /></div><div>From gaming it would be a demilitarized UPF assault scout or, if possible, the military version...as long as it would be equipped with something resembling a hold in either trim. Even a re-titled pirate scout would do. In the absence of a military version, ultimately I would want my <a href="/node/3454" target="_blank">RT-3100 Merchant Scout</a> variant. No matter what trim it is though, it would be small, quick, and agile along with atmospheric capabilities and a fair offense/defense system not to mention a minimal crew to operate; this makes for a fine "does everything well" transport (yes, I copy/cut/pasted that because it is equally applicable).</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="http://www.starfrontiers.us/files/u59/Assault_Scout_profile.gif" /></div>
