Plot Hook, Stow away

In Pride of Chanur the story starts when Tully escapes a Kiff craft and sneaks onto the the Pride of Chanur and for some reason finds compassion from an alien species. <br /><br />I was wondering about how to use this in the Frontier?<br /><br />1. Dark Word station would work: Pirate slave escapes a pirate ship and boards a ship seeking to escape from Outer Reach. The ship he stows away on just happens to be the PCs ship and the pirates go after them just like the KIff did in the novel<br /><br />2. Perhaps a situation on Zebulon after the establishing of corporate enclaves and a mercenary star base<br />with a similar stow away situation.
