Psirens

Many years ago a BBC sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf had an alien race (genetically engineered) that was called Psirens, this race of creatures lured ships into an asteroid field, getting ships to land or crash so they could scavenge the ships and eat the brains of the crews.<div><br /></div><div>These Giant biped Insect looking creatures used psionic abilities to appear as people they are not and to deceive the crews... often tapping into peoples memories, fantasies and emotional drives to manipulate them and create illusions.</div><div><br /></div><div>Even though Red Dwarf is a comedy this was a pretty good idea for a scavenger trickster predatory race out in space.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>
