Athor Militia ranks?

Working on the Athor militia and I need a rank structure.<br /><br />My intent is to use the native american practice of having chiefs and war chiefs such that everyone in a crew of a ship is a warrior but the captian is the chief of the ship and his first officer is war chief or something similar. Alternately it could be Chief of the Ship, 2md chief, 3rd chief.<br /><br />Everyone else is a warrior which is a generic term applied to everyone in the militia regardless of rank but it is also the entry level rank. However, it seems that there should be some grades within the warriors.
