Just got a copy of Zebs

Just got a copy of Zebs off ebay for $19.99 ($23.88 with shipping) but the map was missing. Oh Well.<br /><br />First impression of the book is that the artwork is weak but that is understandable knowing how it came to be published. Still 4 crappy racial pictures for the 4 new races, 3 recycled images from a module, a handfull of equipment illustrations and mega corp logos and that very rough picture of a yazirian and a humma fighting some sathar and the yaz is trying to repair his rifle with a shower head.<br /><br />I actuallylike the layout for the star/planetary catalog with the planetary footnotes in the center column. <br /><br />All in all not a very impressive document when viewed in the flesh.<br /><br />was surpirsed to learn that Kim Eastland's name was really Kimber (or at least that was how he was credited) and that one of the Blumes got a special thanks in the book when I thought he had been out at TSR by this point. Perhaps someone had felt he deserved credit for his imput on the SF material despite being gone from the company.
