<b><u>Commander Morgan Kyrell. Chief Engineer's Log 09-08-2399:</u></b><br />The past twenty-four hours have been a blur. After running a diagnostic on the ship's engines, I've been busy getting my hands into every access hatch I can in an effort to familiarize myself with my new home. I've been reading tech manuals and spec sheets for so long to get ready for this assignment that I can't believe I'm finally here. I'm determined to make Captain Crane judge all future chief engineers by my standard, and to have the best run engineering department in the fleet. <br /><br />Post Script: I can't wait to get out there!
