The Hobbit for Christmas

Just spotted that the Hobbit is likely to be out for Christmas this year, directed by Peter Jackson with several returning cast from LotR. That for sure will make the holiday season merry for me, unless of course this prequel falls prey to the curse of prequels and sucks.<br /><br />however i do look forward to it and need to wrap up reading The Hobbit with the girls.<br /><br />though from some internet research it appears that Jackson is making the Hobbit a trillogy so one never knows whats up with that.
