My Grandpa wrestled a bear

I remember my Dad telling a story about wrestling a bear at a circus in Hartford CN to impress my Grandmother. The two other guys that got into the ring didn't close with the bear but Grandpa did and put a bear hug right back on the circus bear and got a little scratched up on his arms for his trouble. (I did get the impression that Grandma wasn't that impressed.) Anyway that's family legend.
