Space Opera RPG

Wondering if anyone ever played Space Opera and your thoughts on it?<br /><br />my research suggest its treatment of computers is even more dated then SF's very interesting that 3 of the character classes were labeled scientist of one sort or another, and the other classes were armsman and astronaut.<br /><br />Player character creation is reputed to take an hour but without the possibility of death as in Traveller.
