"Real" Setting?

Hello all,<br /><br />Just found this forum; looks great!<br /><br />Just wondering if anyone has thought about doing, or has actually done, work on a &quot;real&quot; setting -- i.e., one not in &quot;Frontier Space&quot; but one based on the actual solar system &amp; surrounding areas out to, say, 50 light years or so.<br /><br />Thoughts?<br /><br />Thanks,
