This thread is for players to communicate with me leading up to the con game.

Players should post info on the PCs like at a minimum Ability scores and skills (including the skill levels as you get some choice there) as stated in the player info PSA is irrelevant since this is one shot and there will effectively be no advancement during the game.

Again AD skills areas are too narrow and the game requires a broader selection of science and scholar skills for this adventure so make your skill choices from the Skilled Frontier article in Issue 9 of the SFman. With the caveat that every character must have at least one science, scholar, or scout skill. Your are all adventurer archaeologist much like Indiana Jone, Luara Croft or that other guy from The Mummy.

Craft a character concept and reason for your character's expertese to be on the team. Use this thread to introduce us to your character. You can read up On TIT but its not required see docs here: http://starfrontiers.us/node/5480

Players will have some decissions to make by or on the day of the game:
TIT is sending along Vi-k'tr as support/advisor see here: http://starfrontiers.us/node/5485
he can be left in the hotel or taken along to the field your choice.

Team has been dispersed a standard 1000 Cr stipend for equipment.
Vi-k'tr has arranged for water and food and basic supplies (tents, rope, and archaeology tools like shovels- you can assume these are available to you- you can further ask for a item from the supplies and if I think its there its there or I may roll %dice to see if its there) as well as 1-2 jetcopters (determined by number of players and possible pilots- one of you can fly these things right?)

EDIT: a pilot not required, NPC can fill that roll for you or you can have a pilot among the PCs (flying skill is largely about getting you to base camp)

One of you really ought to have some medical skill or we could witness that rare animal called TPK (I'm not to inclined to run NPCs to plug holes in the party skill set especially if there is a full group of players).

Computer and technician skills could be handy at some parts. And the title of the game should inform you as to whether you need fighting skills- at least fighting skill per character will come in handy- Indiana Jones, Luare Crost and that other guy.
