Hyper Jump Space

Just openning the old debate of jump transit being instantaneous or does a ship spend 1 day in &quot;Hyper&quot; per light year travelled. There was some confussion in KHs IIRC and I'd like to know what our preference is?<br /><br />a jump is instantaneous or<br />much like in Star Wars where Luke and Obiwan take time to train and Chewie plays chess with the droids.<br />
