Ok, call me crazy but I look at things like the map of the Frontier, the table on worlds of the Frontier and the Planetary footnotes (both in AD and in Zebs) and I ask my self Why?

Certainly the answer could be what momma jedion use to say to a 3 year old Jedion357, "Because."
"Because why?"
"Because I said," which translates to Because the game designers just freaking wrote it that way!

I suspect that the answer to a lot of the canon material is simply, "Because." and I realize that.

However, I really like this game and setting and I like to approach it from an angle of that there really really is a reason and if I can understand the reason then I'll understand something new about the setting.

So of all the planets in the Ad table 8 were colonized by humans (2 high population, 2 moderate, 2 Light, 2 Outpost) 5 by yazirians (2 High, 1 moderater, 1 Light, 1 Outpost) 4 by Vrusk -note the details for one vrusk planet is left out of the AD table and 1 planet is listed as a joint colony with dralasites (1 high, 2 moderate, 1 Light) and the Dralasites have 3 planets (1 High, 1 Moderate, 1 Light)
There are also 4 planets that are a mixture of all 4

It would seem that the dralasites actually reporduce more slowly than the other 3 races.
or... they tolerate a significantly higher population density then the other races would.
