Comment from another thread:
To dig up some old SF bones I wanted to comment and quote
not only Jellyboy but all those who don't contribute but rather consume;
Right now
at least one of you is out there saying "well why don't you help
contribute and finish something?" My answer is: I'm not creative like
you folks are. I love to enjoy your work. Charge me for it if you
wish, I'd gladly pay.

Although
I feel like we beg (maybe too much) I really don't know what else to do
that will inspire consumers to participate.
I'd like to spout off on this issue of creativity- and challenge any
lurkers who are thinking they aren't creative enough- part of my
creative process is to take ideas and information from a variety of
sources and mix it together and bang out something new. That said I
really am an idea whore and steal ideas from everywhere. No matter
whatever your individual creativity score is you all have an opinion and
you can voice it. the forums and projects are great places to air your
opinion and 99% of us here are adults and we can give an take and even
have our idea shot down without it becoming a blood bath of flaming
posts and petulent emails.

I heartily encourage you to voice YOUR OPINIONS in the Forums and
projects. I am creative but creativity stagnates in a vacuum. I desire
to produce great content for the fanzine and to contribute to the
revival of my favorite RPG but feedback from the community is crucial. I
often start threads to illicit feedback from the community to see what
everyone is thinking and that influences me in what I create.

Even if you just lurk and dont post much I encourage you to formally
join the projects that might interest you. This means that when you hit the
whats new button above you get a list of whats new in the projects you
belong to as well. Projects are a great place to work on things that
would largely junk up the main forums. For instance I've started a number of threads in the Zebulon's Guide Expanded project to talk about various topics concerning the humma; reproduction, society, native planet's ecology and its zoology and multiple threads like that in the general forums might be just tedious so it belongs in the project.

The downside of posting in the projects is that they're seen less and can get less feed back. Thus I'd like to challenge anyone who lurks on this site but does enjoy the content as well as the Fan Zine, please join the projects that interest you and consider commenting in active threads whether in the mian forums or the project forums. Your feedback and comments influence the overall content and actually contibute to the final product: The Frontiersman mag.
Please, don't make w00t beg, its pittiful to watch a robot beg.
<img src="http://www.starfrontiers.us/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/p…; alt="Surprised" title="Surprised" border="0" />
