<p>I had Dralasite character use a pedal powered bicycle in a game once, which was funny and helped him get around a bit faster than normal.</p><p><br />IMO bicycles would still be in use by Frontier citizens, and some new varieties may exist with extra features. You might have a folding "swiss army" model made of ultra-light weight material that could be carried on your back, neatly stowed in a small pack. You also might have a miniature seu powered engine for help while pedaling up inclines.<br /><br />Feeling adventurous, I just took my mountain bike, loaded with camping gear, on a round trip of almost 100 miles into the Adirondack Mountains and back home. On the way home, I saw a black bear cross the road ahead of me that gave me the feeling I was really in the wilderness. With no cars in sight, it could just as well have been another planet. I just wished I had an electrostunner or dose grenade in case the bear got too close.<br /><br />The only drawback with bicycles on the Frontier is that you really need a good trail or road to use them. You might not find bikable trails just anywhere, but biking in cities like Port Loren should be easy.<br /><br />Dralasites should be able to pedal a bicycle designed for them, but a vrusk bicycle would look strange indeed.<br /><br />Any other thoughts?</p>
