Finally back in the FTF game saddle again.
My regular D&D group has about an hour to 1.5 hrs to wait for one player to show from dance class so I'm running AD rules Volturnus campaign to pass that time.
we just had our first game after a 2 month hiatus with one member moving and stuff.

It was very gratifying to do 3 combats and a few associated skill test in one hour time when D&D3.5 takes all night for one big combat!

anyhow I expect them to get to the lifeboats in 1-2 weeks and in thinking about that I came up with this:

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>

I'll just transition to the discription of the crash and build a sense of urgency without explaining any of the details about will happen if they remain too close to the life boat as the autopilot just told them to move off.
