Are robots too powerful?

What are your opinions about robots and the power, strenth in the Star Frontiers game.<br />What parts are apt to wear out first?<br />What are their weak spots?<br />How often do you use robots in settings?<br />Is their STA a little to high for a game that bases death/knockout on STA?<br />Is their to-hit a little low?<br /><blockquote><i>30% + 10 x level</i><br /></blockquote>Other thoughts?
