Mass Accelerator technology

I submitted an article about Gauss rifles in the last issue. My concept is that it uses mass accelerator technology. Basically a traveling inertia field that pushes a mass. This leads to the concepts of many other technologies based on this idea. Trains can us this technology. Like Mag Lev trains we have today. A 'Beanstalk' type elevator can be moved in this way. A very large Gauss gun to launch payloads into orbit. Or to launch ore packages out of an asteroid belt to a waiting processing ship, etc. <br />Anyway is anyone interested in articles on this type of stuff?
