Newbie - Where to start?

Hi all :)<br /><br />I've just discovered this site, and I think maybe I've found the possibility of a good, old-school &quot;space trek&quot; game. I've seen there're some downloadable files of rules, and I'd like to know which one would you advise me to choose. What I'm looking for is a basic game that covers the general assumptions of the space sci-fi genre (mostly &quot;Firefly&quot; flavor). <br /><br />Am I at the right place here? If so, what should be my first baby steps?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.<br />
