Over-posting?

So, I've been updating my textured ship thread when I do a new ship... and I post it in the documents folder... and attach the file to the doc with a preview in the doc... and I put it in the Downloads section.<br /><br />Are all of those locations just refering to the same file I uploaded, or am I taking up a bunch of extra space for nothing?<br /><br />
