Applicability of the Frontier Calendar

Refer to: <a href="/node/1241">Frontier Calendar</a>.  <br /><br />I was just wondering -- Winterfest and Springfest happening on a specific month doesn't make a lot of sense for a Frontier-wide calendar system.  GST is a fine concept, and naming the days sounds really cool.  But so many worlds with such drastically different rates of rotation and revolution precludes a season-based Galactic Standard holiday like that.  I think any frontier-wide holidays would be political or special-interest related.  Celebrating the end of SWI, for example.<br /><br />That's just an opinion, of course
