<p>I removed the picture upload section from the Edit page of your profile. Now, there's a new "Avatar" tab when you visit your own profile. On that page, you can upload a new image (just like you used to be able to do) or select one from the gallery provided by Corjay (thanks, man!!). There are 98 avatars in the gallery, probably good enough I think :-)</p><p>Any images you upload do not become part of the avatar gallery.</p><p>When you upload a new image or when you select an avatar image from the gallery, I am being space conscious by deleting the previous image. If you use the same avatar as others from the gallery, all point at the same image on the hard drive. I use scripting to ensure your upload is a valid graphic file and that it's dimensions do not exceed 100 pixels by 100 pixels.</p><p>I put a lot of thought into it, but I'm sure I missed something. Please try it out! </p>
