Originally located in the far corner of the Frontier and in conjunction with a self-supporting neighbor (New Pale, see below) and aggressive mining campaigns, Pale rapidly became home to significant populations of all of the Four Races. NATIVE LIFE: No native animal life has been discovered on Pale beyond various flora and fauna. Much of the planet is covered with vegetation, but all of the plants would be considered "primitive" by most standards. Lichens, mosses, algae and ferns are the most common types.
